PROJECTS

This page describes some of the many useless things I am trying to waste my life with.

For the most part, I succeed.

computers

I have a vast and impressive collection of old, useless junk - ranging from the first computer I ever owned (a Sinclair ZX-81, my Uncle built from a kit) through massive lumbering "Desktop" IBM's from the 70's (with DUAL 8" floppy drives, what an impressive sight!) My prettiest computer, a Black & Chrome Texas Instruments TI-99/4A (with speech synthesizer, of course!), a Sharp pocket-computer, Commodores galore (C64, C128, Amiga 500!)... And the ever-loving Apple IIE (What was High School without it?)
I have a vast and impressive collection of old, useless junk - ranging from my first car (the '72 Chevy Shortbed Pickup) through the relatively "new" '79 BMW 320I (x2). Ever seen the majestic beauty of a 1970 Chevy Suburban? Big! BIG! How about a 1973 VW Thing? What IS that thing? Of course, I have a relatively new '96 Dodge Neon, but it's passed the 90K mark already... Well on its way to blending in with its surroundings.

trueSpace Projects

trueSpace 4.3
(click me)

I have been spending an inordinate amount of my spare time trying to create things that don't exist, or re-create things that already do. In trueSpace (you get in trouble if you capitalize it right) you get the chance to build your own little universe, limited only by your imagination. Of course, that often means your universe consists of a rock and some moldy cheese. But it's YOUR rock and moldy cheese, and by golly, nobody can take that away from you! Nobody! Don't let the man keep you down! Fight back!

FREEDOM!! Terrible, terrible FREEDOM!

In case you haven't noticed, you're on the internet. And as you may have gathered, you're looking at another project of mine. An awful attempt to make my life sound interesting, just to give you good people something to read about in between the online shopping and stock quotes. Or, at the very least, make you feel good about how interesting YOUR life must be. And it has to be better than this, doesn't it? Of course it does! Glad I could help!
